My Ursolic Acid Log: Muscle, Fat Loss & High Hopes

In nature ursolic acid can be found in small doses within the skin of green apples, but in the laboratory - where the dosage has been turned up a notch, ursolic acid has really blown away scientists and researchers.

The ability of ursolic acid to surge the growth (and regrowth in some experiments) of lean muscle mass and overall strength has been exciting to hear as more information comes forth.

Even studies that have used long periods of fasting and inactivity have shown that ursolic acid can fight the processes of muscle degradation that normally accompany calorie restriction and decreased exercise.

It's delightful to hear that a natural compound such as ursolic acid can be used to combat  the negative effects we experience when we are unable to lift or get all our meals in.

With the right dosage of ursolic acid I can leave behind the guilt I feel when injured or too busy with work to be 100% on my fitness grind.

Not worrying about my muscles shrinking or my six pack turning into a keg after a few too many nights on the road would be like a gift from God.

Seeing research showing that adding ursolic acid to any regular Joe's diet Increase their muscle mass will surely keep me up at night until I can see some results with the product I just started using.

If ursolic acid really has anti-catabolic effects, it could change my life in big ways (not spending 2 hours in the gym for instance).

But that’s what it’s starting to look like with research in mice proving that ursolic acid supplementation altered the normal way genes express themselves in a state of heavy caloric restriction. Instead of using muscle to make it through a period of fasting, the mice given ursolic acid held onto their muscle mass and used fat and ketones as fuel.

Literally, the science is saying that even people who don’t workout at all could gain some muscle and lose fat just by simply upping their ursolic acid intake.

That just leads me to believe, with my regime, I should see some pretty amazing results after my 8 week run trying out Ursolodine (a ursolic acid - tomatidine blend popular with strength athletes).

I’m all too excited to finish up and give you guys the low down. Let’s just pray my hopes haven’t gotten jacked too high by these awesome studies.

Be back to report here at the end of August, 2016 :)

Stay lean, friends.
